Student Spotlight: Markus Bankuti

Marcus is an undergraduate student in the Department of Journalism. He is one of ten Experiential Learning Grant recipients in 2019. The Office of Community Engagement (OCE) used the grant to hire him to work on a new communications project, for which he has developed a series of profiles to highlight Concordia’s role in advancing community interests with a focus on relationship building. Read more about his work and apply for an EL grant in 2020.

The Experiential Learning Office is accepting applications for the second year of EL Grants. Do you have an innovative idea that offers Concordia students an EL opportunity OR are you a student with an idea for a hands-on project that's related to your program of study? Do you need funding to support it? Apply for up to $2000

The Engaged Scholar Awards recognize the efforts and celebrate the achievements of students, faculty members and community partners who contribute to community-engaged teaching, learning or research. Deadline is March 23 at 5PM. Nominate someone.

Volunteer over spring break

During reading week help community organizations in Montreal, while furthering your leadership development and self-awareness in social and interactive settings. Activities will include building ramps for single step access to stores, sorting food donations, light carpentry, cooking and preparing meals. Registration closes February 17th, 2020. Power-up your skills

Develop the skills you need to successfully transition from university into the workplace. Complete 4 activities in one of our core skill modules and get a certificate for that module. Explore the workshops.

SAF wants to give you $800-$1500

The Sustainability Research Awards Program is a scholarship program that aims to recognize Concordia students who are working towards sustainable change on campus through their coursework or research. Deadline is March 22. Learn more.

Bring a real-world activity into the classroom
