At Concordia

Otsenhákta Student Centre: A warm place where First Nations, Inuit and Métis students can find community, support and assistance. We help students succeed and achieve their highest academic potential by working with them to make the most of the many resources available at the university.

Indigenous Directions: This hub is a gathering place for Indigenous resources, courses, research and projects within Concordia and beyond.

Community organizations

Native Montreal: Seeks to contribute to the holistic health, cultural strength, and success of Indigenous individuals, families, and the community in Montréal. Native Montreal provides mental health services, including referrals to counselling.

Native Friendship Centre of Montreal: Provides services to the urban Indigenous population of Montreal and their families related to health, social services, legal support, orientation/information, education, training and employment referrals.

Women's Centre of Montreal: Indigenous Women's program: Aims to support and guide Indigenous women living in urban areas with services adapted to their values and needs.

Native Women's Shelter of Montreal: Offers support and frontline services to First Nations, Inuit and Métis women and children to promote their empowerment and independence. Provides a variety of services, including mental health and wellness services.

Indigenous Health Centre of Tiohtià:ke: Ensures the provision of culturally appropriate and effective health services to Indigenous people through a holistic approach offered in a culturally safe environment.

Montreal Indigenous Community Network: Provides access to psychological support services for front-line workers from Indigenous and Indigenous-serving organizations in Tiohtià:ke/Montreal.
