The Computer Centre Incident took place on February 11, 1969. To commemorate to 45th anniversary of the event, Records Management and Archives will be posting archival documents on the event throughout the month of February. Today, we propose to you as the second installment of our look at the Computer Centre Incident, a video excerpt from the movie Prelude to the Sir George Williams University Computer Centre Riot, which was filmed at the hearing, set up by the administration to investigate the racism charges, on January 29, 1969. Today's excerpt features the students learning that the Students' Legislative Council has passed a motion declaring the Hearing Committee illegitimate.
