It was a gathering to celebrate sports, teamwork and education.

Concordia University’s Department of Recreation and Athletics in collaboration with the Concordia University Alumni Association invited graduating Stingers varsity athletes to a celebratory luncheon on April 9.

The event provided an opportunity to honour the student-athletes’ contributions to the university and bid them farewell as they head to the next stages of their lives.

Alumnus and former Stinger Jean-Michel Paquette, BAdmin 04, who is currently a program coordinator at Concordia’s Institute for Co-operative Education, spoke to student-athletes about his experience as a Stinger and how it helped him in his career.

This video, produced by George Menexis and Rachel Lau, presents the highlights of the 2013 Graduating Stingers Luncheon held in Concordia’s Journalism and Communication Studies Building.
