That conversation led to the creation of the Champions Club in 2009. Since then, the club has held four dinner events that have raised $250,000 to allow Concordia’s football program to recruit the best student-athletes and build a stronger program on the field — and help students in the classroom.
“The main goal of the club is to raise money for student-athlete scholarships and bursaries,” says Arsenault. “I greatly appreciate the dedication it takes to be a student-athlete.
