Alumni Recognition Awards: Introducing the 2015 community of eight
This year's recipients tell what Concordia means to them as a university and a community.
The 2015 Alumni Recognition Award winners have made significant contributions to the Concordia community both locally and abroad.
Their efforts will be formally recognized at a banquet sponsored by the Concordia University Alumni Association and organized by Advancement and Alumni Relations at the Westin Montreal on May 26, 2015.
The recipients are:
- Humberto Santos Award of Merit: Xavier-Henri Hervé, BEng 87, DSc 11
- Honourary Life Membership: Nick Tedeschi
- Benoît Pelland Distinguished Service Award: Francesco Ciampini, BA 72
- Alumna of the Year: Lauren Small, BA 95, MA 97
- Alumni Award for Excellence in Teaching: Rhona Richman Kenneally
- Outstanding Staff Award: John Dore, BSc 75
- Young Alumnus of the Year: Awel Uwihanganye, BA 08
- Outstanding Student Award: Alexandra Meikleham
