According to the official description, “Mouthpiece follows one woman, for one day, as she tries to find her voice.”
Nostbakken created, performed and directed the 60-minute play. She also composed its music.
The Department of Theatre graduate says her university education had a significant impact on her career. “My years at Concordia forced me to define exactly what it was that I wanted to do, and what I wanted to say.”
She adds, “Theatre is not for everyone, you have to want it really bad and you have to know why.”
Mouthpiece runs at the Theatre Centre through May 3.
