As you prepare to start classes, here are some key safety considerations.
- Major work on the main entrance to the John Molson Building (MB) is ongoing. Avoid the construction site and use the tunnel instead.
- Wearing a mask is no longer mandatory in most university settings. However, it remains an effective tool in reducing the spread of the COVID-19 virus. The university will continue to provide procedure masks and hand sanitizer at most building entrances.
- We recommend you get vaccinated, if you haven’t yet, and keep your COVID-19 booster doses up to date.
- If you develop symptoms or test positive, follow Quebec’s COVID-19 self-isolation instructions and use the short-term absence form if it applies in your situation. Before returning to campus, consult the returning to campus following your isolation period tool.
- If you face circumstances that affect your academic progress, look into academic accommodations open to you.
