Changes to the Conference and Exposition Allowance
Benefit from an automated application process and simplified form
The School of Graduate Studies would like to inform you of recent changes to the Conference and Exposition Allowance that you may find beneficial. This award is available for thesis-based graduate students and postdoctoral fellows. Here are the details:
- Created a simplified, user-friendly application form.
- The application form must be submitted no later than 30 calendar days before the start date of the conference or upon receipt of acceptance to the conference.
- Three fixed allowance values have been created:
- Montreal/Greater-Montreal area (GMA): up to $500 to cover registration fees
- National conference (Canada/Quebec, except GMA): $750
- International conference: $1,000
