Revised eligibility criteria for the Conference and Exposition Allowance

The School of Graduate Studies has made an important revision in the eligibility criteria for the Conference and Exposition Allowance. 

Effective as of the Winter 2024 academic term, doctoral students may receive this allowance up to three times within the first five years of their program.  

Formerly, eligibility for this allowance allowed doctoral students to make a request once per term within the initial five years of their program. This change is in response to budget constraints. 

If students have already held awards prior to Winter 2024, they will not count towards the new count as of January 2024.
