The School of Graduate Studies has launched a new graduate student ambassador program, designed to support prospective and newly admitted graduate students.

Fifteen graduate students have been hired to assist students from across Canada and around the world in making informed choices about their future graduate studies. They are available to answer questions through online chat about their graduate student experience, campus life and what it’s like to live and study in Montreal.

The graduate ambassadors, who are enrolled in master’s and PhD programs across all four faculties at Concordia, participate in both virtual and in-person events, such as Q&A sessions, Open Houses and graduate information sessions.

The program aims to improve the experience of future graduate students through direct, peer-to-peer connections and insights as they navigate their graduate school options.

Graduate ambassadors will also provide invaluable feedback to make the university’s services and events more relevant, timely and targeted to actual student needs.

This paid opportunity allows graduate student ambassadors to strengthen their leadership and communication skills, broaden their professional network and meet new people.

Meet our first group of graduate student ambassadors.
