Grants for women pursuing graduate studies

Apply for one of the Soroptimist Foundation of Canada’s $8,500 grants, offered to female graduate students in Canada who are pursuing careers that focus on improving the quality of women’s lives.

Examples of such careers include but are not limited to counselling mature women entering or re-entering the labour market, counselling women in crisis, counselling and training women for non-traditional employment and positions in women’s centres.

The aim is to assist women in need of financial assistance to complete their studies. The deadline to apply is January 31, 2025.

To apply, you must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident that identifies as female. You must be registered in a full-time graduate studies program (master’s or PhD), be committed to working in Canada for at least two years after graduation and contribute to your community through volunteer service.
