Looking to improve your French proficiency and boost your career opportunities in Quebec? Join the new Linguistic Mentorship Program offered by the Provincial Employment Roundtable (PERT), a non-profit focused on addressing employment challenges facing Quebec’s English-speaking community.

The program is designed to help English-speaking graduate students and early-career professionals gain confidence and fluency in French through personalized mentorship. By taking part, you’ll be paired with a French-speaking mentor for regular conversations tailored to your field of interest.

Program highlights:

  • 9-10 personalized meetings with a French-speaking mentor over the course of a year (November 2024 – November 2025)
  • Access to professional development workshops throughout the program

Graduate students from any discipline who are native English speakers or fluent in English are eligible to apply.

Register for the program by November 7 by completing the online application form.

Students are also invited to attend the program’s launch event on November 14, where they’ll have the chance to network with potential mentors and employees.
