Scholarships for Indigenous grad students – Apply by May 31

The Tahatikonhsontóntie’ Quebec Network Environment for Indigenous Health Research (QcNEIHR) is offering scholarships to support Indigenous (First Nations, Métis or Inuit) master’s and doctoral students. These awards aim to strengthen research skills and foster partnerships with Indigenous communities and organizations.

Value

  • Master’s: $25,000 (1 year)
  • PhD: $35,000 (1 year)

Eligibility 

Applicants must:

  • Self-identify as Indigenous (First Nations, Métis or Inuit) and provide an official document or a personal statement with supporting documentation to confirm their Indigenous identity
  • Be enrolled in or accepted to a full-time graduate program at a Québec institution or one affiliated with QcNEIHR
  • Submit a complete application by the deadline
