Eric Fillion, doctoral candidate in history and public scholar, just published a chapter in Making Men, Making History: Canadian Masculinities across Time and Place, co-edited by Peter Gossage (Concordia University) and Robert Rutherdale (Algoma University). Fillion’s contribution to this anthology (“The New Quebec Man: Activism and Collective Improvisation at Petit Québec libre, 1970-73”) explores the link between the counterculture, Quebec nationalism, free jazz and masculinity.
The book is available via UBC Press.
