Younes Medkour, PhD candidate and public scholar, will be presenting his research that led to the discovery of a plant extract that extends lifespans and delays the onset of age-related diseases at the Yeast Genetics Meeting. The event takes place August 22nd-26st at Stanford University.
Younes will be part of a discussion on genetics that regroups researchers and practitioners from a broad range of disciplines in biology. Researchers from top universities, including Ivy League giants, will be attending to discuss innovative ways to study a plethora of topics ranging from evolution to diseases using the powerful experimental model Saccharomyces cerevisiae.
