De Maisonneuve Blvd. - Section between GM East side lane & Guy Street closed to traffic from 6:00am May 3 to 11:59pm May 4, 2014

Please be advised that, as part of the GM Bldg. cooling tower replacement, a section of De Maisonneuve Blvd. (between GM East side lane and Guy Street) will be closed to all traffic on Saturday May 3 from 6:00 am to 11:50 pm Sunday May 4, 2014.

A crane will be installed in front of the GM building and procedures have been put in place to secure the site.  Periodically, during equipment lift, pedestrian & bicycle circulation will be stopped by traffic agents.  Also a fenced pedestrian pathway will be established and road signage will be installed to safely manage the circulation.

Please note that the lane on the East side of the GM Bldg. will remain open.
