To the occupants and users of the Hall building,
We are presently in the process of replacing the Hall building 3rd floor roof which juts out a couple of feet all around the building façade. The work started on the North side of the building (terrace) and will move next to De Maisonneuve side. The West section of the De Maisonneuve side is scheduled to start at the end of this week and the East section by the end of this month. The work will continue to the Mackay side by July and finally Bishop side by August.
Please note that all measures have been taken to minimise the noise and disruption to the University community but there are some inconveniences that are part of any project. In this case we had to move bike racks, tables and benches to allow the erection of scaffolding, but they will be installed back once the project is completed by the end of August 2014. Please note that the aforementioned schedule is depending on weather conditions and may change accordingly.
