LB Bldg. - Masonry restoration on South & East façades

Please be advised that the project for the masonry restoration work on the LB South & East façades is beginning today, July 3, and is expected to last for about 6 months.  The work will consist in brick repointing on level 1 and 2, a complete removal and reconstruction of the exterior bricks from level 3 to 6 as well as complete repointing of the upper levels.  Scaffolding  will be installed around the South & East perimeter, however measures will be taken to ensure that all entrances to the building remain accessible. 

West and North Façades are not affected by the project.

The work will be done externally between 6:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. and will entail some disruption in the form of noise and dust especially during the demolition phase.
