UPDATE - Hall Building: Planned work on the terrace - June 13 -21, 2024 (06:00-16:00)

To the users and occupants of the Hall Building,

The planned work for the terrace is for today, 2024-06-13, between the hours of 06:00 and 16:00. The work will continue until the end of next week Friday, 2024-06-21. This work is required as part of the Hall Stair Renovation project (21-017).

General Information

Work on the terrace:

• The masonry work was completed to create a needed opening.  Future openings will be required at which time another update will be issued.
• The temporary diesel reservoir was installed on the terrace today, Thursday, 2024-06-13 and the opening to run the pipe was also efficiently executed today.
• The benches along the terrace in the excavation zone area were successfully removed today.

Work just off the terrace in the alley:

• Excavation in preparation to install a retaining wall for the eventual removal of large underground diesel reservoirs. The work is slightly noisy due to the large excavation equipment running in the alley to do the work.
• We can expect continued excavation work in the alley area just off the terrace during the day between the hours of 07:00 and 15:00 on weekdays.
