Hall Building: Renovation of the linear drain and surrounding concrete - August 5 - 9, 2024 (04:30 - 17:00)

To the users and occupants of the Hall Building,

A planned renovation of the Hall Building linear drain and surrounding concrete is SCHEDULED to take place from Monday, 2024-08-05 to Friday, 2024-08-09 between the hours of 04:30 and 17:00.

• S- Hall / Henry F. Hall Building

General Information

• The concrete topper, waterproofing membrane, and drain will be demolished and reconstructed.
• The work zone and ramp will be sectioned-off and remain inaccessible to building occupants throughout the duration of the work.
• Building users will be given access to all other areas beyond the work zone.
• There will be noisy work on Wednesday, August 7^th between 04:30 and 09:30 that may affect the activities of building occupants.
• Signage and hearing protection will be posted at loading dock entry points on August 7^th .
• People accessing the loading dock area are required to wear hearing protection during noisy work.
• Heavy vehicles will not be permitted to drive over the linear drain between August 5^th and September 8^th during concrete curing period.
• A temporary protective board will be installed over the linear drain between August 5^th and September 8^th to allow for the light traffic crossing (up to 600lbs).
• Full access to the ramp on H-030-1 will be restored on September 9^th.
