UPDATE: RF / PY Buildings: Interruption of electrical emergency power - August 30, 2024 (22:00 - 01:00)

To the users and occupants of the RF and PY Buildings,

A planned interruption of the emergency electrical power is SCHEDULED for Friday, 2024-08-30 between the hours of 22:00 and 01:00 (approximately 3 hours).  This interruption is in conjunction with the construction project to modify the compressed air system in the PS, PY, RF, and SP buildings.

Buildings

●       L- RF / Conference center

●       L- PY / Psychology Building

General Information

●       Both buildings will remain open throughout the service interruption during which the following services will be offline in the PY :

○       Elevator

○       Emergency lighting and emergency outlets

○       Telephone and access card systems

○       Network access

●       Additional security personnel will be available to mitigate risks

●       Users requiring access to the buildings during the shutdown will need to contact the security desk at the SP pavilion.
