Group Insurance Plan: Technical issues with Sun Life system

Dear colleagues,

We would like to inform you that Sun Life, our insurer for our group insurance plan, has encountered technical problems related to recent plan modifications which took effect on January 1, 2025.

As a result, health and dental claims that have been submitted at the beginning of the year were not processed in accordance with the new parameters of our group insurance plan.

Please rest assured that Sun Life is actively working to correct all errors that may have occurred. All claims that were not processed according to the terms of our group insurance plan will be adjusted retroactively to January 1, 2025.

No action is required on your part. Sun Life will issue a refund (if any) directly to your account.
