Fall 2014 conference, October 1 and 2
The third edition of e.SCAPE is an invitation to plug in to digital learning.
The conference kicks off with a panel discussion where academic leaders will tackle current realities and future challenges involved in adopting new technologies in higher education. Participants will then be invited to help map a direction for moving forward with new digital forms of teaching and learning.
The next day provides an opportunity to engage directly with the tools faculty are using to take their teaching online – either fully or through hybrid models. A series of workshops will explore ways of using Camtasia, Panopto, Adobe Connect and Moodle. Faculty members already using these tools will lead the workshops. Digital drop-in sessions will allow visitors to try out at these tools in a hands-on setting along with the help of experienced faculty and staff members.
