Starting April 1st, 2021, every Thursday of the month, the newsletter Isolate in style will come to your mailbox. FOFA Director Eunice Bélidor initiated this series of open letters during the first gallery closure in March 2020. Completely overwhelmed, she wondered how the FOFA Gallery and its staff could keep supporting artists while supporting themselves? Quickly, the refusal to take part in the frantic race toward online exhibitions made way for a slower, more personal art programming: as such; we can know artists other than through their practice and get out of the constant consumption spiral.

This second iteration will feature exchanges with curators and artists: Mojeanne Behzadi, Daisy Desrosiers, Didier Morelli + Ariele Dionne- Krosnick, Charlene K. Lau, and maya rae oppenheimer. The Director hopes this slowness will allow for a more significant time for self and collective care.
