Subject to the applicable collective agreements and policies, videos belong to the person who recorded them.

As part of the YuJa Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA), the university considered some of the following:

• YuJa requires the full name and email address of faculty members as well as their current teaching assignments. This makes it possible to lock down videos for specific course sections in a given term.
• YuJa requires the full name of students, their email address and a list of their courses in the current term.
• YuJa collects information about the devices and browsers that users employ in order to evaluate service and troubleshoot.
• YuJa collects IP address information and activity logs. Users can delete this supplemental information at any time by logging in to the YuJa website.
