    As a part of its overall public health mission, the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) "provides leadership in helping control the HIV/AIDS epidemic by working with community, state, national, and international partners in surveillance, research, and prevention and evaluation activities."
  • Center for AIDS Prevention Studies (CAPS)
    The Center for AIDS Prevention Studies (CAPS) at the University of California San Francisco is committed to maintaining a focus on prevention of HIV disease, using the expertise of multiple disciplines, and an applied and community-based perspective within a university setting.
    • Just Say Yes
      Just Say Yes is created by the Coalition for Positive Sexuality (CPS), which is a grassroots, not-for-profit, activist organization that promotes a positive attitude towards sexuality for teenagers.

    • Stop AIDS Project
      "Established in 1985, the STOP AIDS project works to prevent HIV transmission among all gay and bisexual men in San Francisco through multicultural, community-based organizing."
