Physical Services Building
The building in which Concordia Physical Services has been housed for many years was built in 1923 as the first rink and arena built for Concordia's founding institution, Loyola College. In 1941 an addition was built on the south wall for a COTC (Canadian Officers Training Corps) drill hall that was converted to a cafeteria in 1946. With the opening of the Athletics Complex in 1967 and the move of the COTC, the building was turned over to Physical Services. In the summer of 2007, the facilities previously used by the Print Shop, were modified for use by Engineering students for special car-related projects.
