André Gagné is Full Professor and Chair of the Department of Theological Studies. He has a conjoint PhD from l'Université catholique de Louvain (Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium) and l'Université de Montréal, a M.A. and B.Th. from l'Université de Montréal.
His teaching and scholarship focus on Christian Political Thought, Neocharismatic-Pentecostalism, Spiritual Warfare, Prophecy and the Reception of the Bible. For research updates, visit Dr. Gagné's Substack, YouTube channel, and/ or Bluesky account.
Dr. Gagné is a member of the National Expert Committee on Countering Radicalization to Violence with Public Safety Canada. He is also member of the Centre for the Study of Learning and Performance (Concordia), a research associate with the Centre de recherche Société, Droit et Religions (Université de Sherbrooke), and a member of the Political Theology Research Group (McGill, Concordia, Université de Montréal, and Université Laval).
