Services
An important part of the Centre for the Arts in Human Development's mandate involves the provision of therapeutic services. Our primary clinical focus is the provision of creative arts therapies – art therapy, drama therapy, music therapy and dance/movement therapy – to persons with developmental disabilities. Therapy is provided by both professionals and graduate student interns from the Department of Creative Arts Therapies. In addition to the Centre's main program, many special programs have also been offered.
Special programs
The Centre for the Arts in Human Development is committed to innovation. As part of this commitment, we have undertaken many special programs – and continue to do so–that expand the boundaries of the therapeutic use of the creative art therapies and enhance the lives of our participants.
