Lallemand Postdoctoral Fellowships in Bioprocessing

The Centre for Applied Synthetic Biology at Concordia University in Montreal, Quebec, is inviting applications for Postdoctoral Fellow positions to work in Bioprocessing.
Generous support from Lallemand is enabling Concordia University to provide support for studies in the field of Bioprocessing, defined as processes that develop or utilize natural or genetically-modified living cells or organisms (e.g., bacteria, fungi, plants) or parts thereof (e.g., enzymes, DNA) to obtain products or services; it also includes designing, building and testing real or virtual tools, machines (e.g., reactors, software) and procedures used in the development or fabrication of such products and services.
The support can provide postdoctoral fellowships of up to $50,000; awards are initially for one year, but can be extended based on performance. Qualified candidates are encouraged to contact Concordia professors from the Centre for Applied Synthetic Biology and the Centre for Structural and Functional Genomics working in the areas defined by the award to develop an application.
Applicants must have a PhD; strong technical expertise and a demonstration of publications directly related to the areas of research of their research project.
