Juliette Nadeau is completing a master's degree in sociology at Concordia University under the supervision of Dr. Beverley Best. Prior to that she obtained a major in sociology from Concordia University with great distinction (2019), and a minor in criminology from University of Montreal (2016). The research carried out as part of her graduate studies examines the relations of hostility and complicity between art and capitalism. Her project aims to historicize the increasing role played by creativity and innovation in managerial discourse and urban governance. She is also interested in the effects of neoliberal restructuring on artistic work and art production.
