Sylvie R. Gagnon was a clinicial researcher with the HERMES team from 2012 until September 2020. She also works with pathological gamblers, is a regional trainer in pathological gambling and was a lecturer at the Faculté de médecine et des sciences de la santé at Université de Sherbrooke.
She has developed an important expertise on the clinical evaluation of problematic Internet use. Sylvie was notably responsible for the coordination of the VIRTUADO project with 28 clinicians and 14 treatment centers and has coordinated the project with adult cyber-dependents in CRD.
