Questions answered offline:

Thank you for everyone who participated in the PERFORM Colloquium "Why and how to maintain a good sleep during crisis". Unfortunately we received many questions that we did not have time to respond to.  Many questions were requesting a medical consultation for a specific problem.  Please refer to the https://sleeponitcanada.ca website, where you can find many answers to your questions.  You can also visit the Canadian Sleep Society site at https://scs-css.ca or the Fondation sommeil website at https://fondationsommeil.com for additional information. For more specialized questions, please consult with your family doctor.

Introduction:

The current pandemic and the resulting restrictions have caused extensive disruption to our daily lives.

These changes generate stress that can interfere with our sleep.

What are the consequences of this stress for our sleep patterns? Why is it important to take care of our sleep requirements in this time of crisis, especially for the most vulnerable? How can we maintain good sleep quality under these conditions?

All of these questions will be addressed in our online conference.
