My favourite part of going on exchange was...
Doing one month of volunteering in the Ecuadorian Amazon within an indigneous community and surfing all around South America. I got the time to travel all throughout the semester and also after final exams and met cool travelers from all around the world. Also, taking part in the activities that were offered on campus such as tennis, swimming and dance classes.

The Amazon in Ecuador, best surfing in Mancora in Peru and the HuayHuash trek next to Huaraz, Peru, which consisted of walking 8 days in the Andes carrying more than 15 kgs of gear and food for the whole trek, where we got to see a lot of glaciers, wild animals and silent nature. Also the beaches in Colombia, Tayrona Park,las Islas San Bernado.
I recommend going on exchange because...
You will discover a new country, new culture and get to travel, at the same time as studying so you're never bored. You'll have time to do activities and go out and meet people with common interests but completely different backgrounds! You can become fluent in a new language and make friends who you can speak that language with. It's a once in a lifetime opportunity to go on exchange and it was the best experience of my life for now so I'd 100% recommend you to go as well.
