My favourite part of going on exchange was…
Being able to travel to a new place I have never been too, and experience a real cultural shock. Every day I was amazed by certain customs, ways of acting or products I had no knowledge existed. It was the constant discovery that was favorite part. Seing such crazy great new things and knowing for sure this so much left to discover.
A tip I would give to students applying for exchange is…
Plan as soon as possible. Absolute no to procrastination. Going in exchange and being an exchange student is a complicated process. One has to be attentive about the instructions and rules. One mistake or lack of attention can literally cost you your exchange. What to do is to be organized, attentive, patient ,but also think fast.
I recommend going on exchange because…
I recommend going in exchange because it is an amazing experience, and doing it in university is the best way. It is an experience that foster growth , independence, resilience and strength. You night think you already have all of that, but trust me going in exchange will challenge that.
The scariest part about exchange was…
The scariest part of going in exchange for me was the unknown and the distance. I was commiting to staying for months in a country I had never set foot in, where I knew absolutely nobody, and worse, where I did not understand the language. I was not familiar with the culture either and I barely liked the food.
