Meet Damilola Ajala

Hi! I'm Damilola, a 4th year student in Pure and Applied Mathematics and Computer Science. I love biking, playing badminton and watching movies. I’ve always believed there’s so much to learn and experience beyond the comfort of my little bubble—that’s what motivated me to study abroad. I wanted to live somewhere new, immerse myself in different cultures, and meet new people. And that I did! I would recommend going on exchange again and again.

The most unexpected part about exchange was…

Enjoying my independence as much as I did.

My favourite part of going on exchange was…

Making friends from different countries and enjoying a rich cultural exchange that taught me so much.

I recommend going on exchange because…

You get to see yourself do things you might've thought you weren't capable of.

I felt like I made a great decision to go on exchange when...

I saw myself thriving in a new country that I had never been to before and that I didn't have any friends in prior to my arrival.
