Immigration processing delays for international applicants
Concordia University welcomes students from around the world and is committed to supporting international applicants throughout the admissions process. However, processing times for immigration documents can vary, and recent government updates indicate longer-than-usual processing times for applicants from certain countries.
Impact on your application
Due to these delays, some applicants may not receive their immigration documents in time to begin their studies in Fall 2025. In such cases, applications may be moved forward for processing for the Winter 2026 term instead (or later in some cases).
