Hi, My name is Jayde and I am a third year student from Toronto, Ontario studying towards an honors degree in English Literature with a minor in Science Journalism. I love to spend my free time writing journalism and poetry pieces and reading all of the classics.
The one thing I wished I would have known back in my first semester is… I wish I would've known about all of the services at Concordia, and how to go about accessing them, because there are so many helpful mental health and learning strategy clinics and information that is accessible to students, it just needs to be more publicized!
A tip I have for new students is… to always send your papers or any type of work you have to your professors before your due date so that they are able to give you more feedback and a sense of what they're looking for before you submit the final copy!
My favorite part of being a Concordia student is… the diversity in the school and how welcoming the student body is, I felt instantly at home at Concordia!
