Hello everyone! It's Raha here! I'm about to start my third year as a Biology student here at Concordia. Outside the labs and classes, you can find me indulging in my passion for classical music—I always have my favorite composers queued up. I also enjoy exploring the outdoors, whether it's through leisurely walks in nature or discovering hidden gems in the city. In my downtime, I unwind by crocheting intricate designs, finding solace and creativity in the rhythmic repetition of stitches.
The one thing I wished I would have known back in my first semester is… how easy peasy lemon squeezy it is to make connections, whether with students or professors. It helps feeling more tuned into the class and less confused. Only if I could go back in time, I would pluck up my courage and give office hours a go!
A tip I have for new students is… that there is no good life without having fun, so don't let yourself feel imprisoned by your studies! The only way to be happy and enjoy this ride is to find an equilibrium between academics, social life, and your well-being! This is the real success.
My favorite part of being a Concordia student is… where do I start? Concordia is a family, a huge family from all around the world! People here are super friendly and they genuinely care. All we need for a good university!
