Hello! My name is Toritseju but you can call me Tori or Toju for short and this is my fourth year as  a major in Biochemistry. I love to spend my down time crocheting, playing board games with friends, and reading thriller and mystery novels.

The one thing I wished I would have known back in my first semester is…going to club events and hang outs do not have to be stress inducing. Most people are friendly and down to earth and you could end up meeting your closest friends this way.

A tip I have for new students is…The key to success is time-management. Knowing and planning things you have to do later gives you a sense of direction and puts things into perspective. If you plan the major things you have to do, you would even have free time to dedicate to your hobbies or extracurricular activities.

My favorite part of being a Concordia student is…being part of Concordia community. Concordia has such a welcoming atmosphere. It is really easy to find your own little spotlight where you get to shine. There are so many opportunities to get involved in something important.
