Hello New Concordians! I am Vedang Dubey, a 2nd year undergraduate student in Aerospace Engineering with a concentration in Avionics and Aerospace Systems. Born in India, also having lived in Singapore for more than 10 years. I have played most sports at a competitive level be it Tennis, Table Tennis, Basketball, Football and Swimming and usually how I spend my time. I also have extensive experience in debate be it at MUNs, Mock-Senates, or Competitions.
The one thing I wished I would have known back in my first semester is… to be more organised. Moving towards university life was a major stepping stone for me and if I had organised my time and my activities in a more comprehensive way, maybe a calendar, it would have been very helpful. It was after a few weeks into the semester that I realised the importance of this.
A tip I have for new students is… There's a lot of things always going on at the university, it's better to get to know things well in advance to plan out your semester better. If possible, try to join the various activities and associations at Concordia to give your university life a good balance.
My favorite part of being a Concordia student is…You're never going to be bored. Either at the university or in the city, there's always something fun to do. When you're too done with the studying, step outside the building, grab a bubble tea, or a coffee nearby.
