I am eternally grateful for the opportunities and support I received throughout my time at Concordia. The memories and relationships I built with my peers and professors are some that I will cherish for a long time. I would also like to thank my fellow EXEC team, and members of the African Students Association of Concordia 2021/2022, for making my time so memorable. To my fellow students, university is the place and time to grow. It will be scary and confusing sometimes; but don’t doubt yourself or your abilities, make use of the resources around you. Take your academic commitments seriously but also try new things, live in the moment and enjoy the experience.

My life is a testimony of God's grace. After being a drop out and having my son, I came back stronger than ever. Holding my degree and my son is the best feeling in the entire world. I am now a candidate for a political party for the 2022 provincial election in Quebec. Check out for me!

Alice Walker once said, “the most common way people give up their power is by thinking they don't have any." but my father always reinforced in me that as long as I persevere, I’ll have all the power in the world. This achievement is both an ode to that and stands as my personal act of political warfare against a world that barricades the success of Black femmes.
