The Concordia community mourns the loss of a longtime colleague, professor and friend, Michael Pinsonneault.
A faculty member in the Department of Music since the 1990s, Michael’s unique spirit encouraged confidence in both students and teachers alike, fostering collaboration and connections across musical practices from jazz education and electroacoustic composition to modular synthesis and songwriting — and everything in between.

His presence brought us together, and ‘Love and Light’ perfectly encapsulates what he represented to us in the music department.
