The Government of Canada has announced plans to extend the deadline for making a donation that can be applied to the 2024 tax year.
Although legislation to this effect has not yet been enacted by Parliament, the Canada Revenue Agency has confirmed that it will proceed with administering the 2024 deadline extension for charitable donations.
