Digital Device Practices and Policies in Quebec and Ontario K12 Schools for Learning and Living is a four-year project which explores how digital devices including smartphones and tablets are being used across K-12 schools in Quebec and Ontario. This study pursues three objectives. First, to study and document how digital devices are being used in K-12 schools and for what purposes; 2) to analyze existing policies, rules and regulations related to digital devices at the school, school board and ministry level; and 3) to examine ICT curriculum of existing teacher education programs across Canada.
