Scholars Evening
The Arts and Science Scholars list is completed every year after the last annual GPA has been calculated. Students who are identified as Arts and Science Scholars receive a certificate of recognition by the Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Science during the following Fall term.
For a student to be eligible as an Arts and Science Scholar, they must meet the following criteria:
- Be registered as a full-time student in an Arts and Science degree program in both the fall and winter terms, with a minimum of 24 credits attached to letter grades.
- Have a GPA in the top of their department (there is no minimum and the top GPAs will vary from year to year).
- For students registered with the Access Centre for Students with Disabilities (ACSD), students need to be registered in at least 6 credits attached to letter grades in both the fall and winter terms.

Dean's Awards for Excellence
The annual Dean's Awards for Excellence recognize staff and faculty in four categories and acknowledges various research-related awards and Chair designations including Concordia University Research Chairs and Canada Research Chairs.
Dean's List
The Dean's List is compiled every year after the last annual GPA has been calculated. The list is published on the Faculty of Arts and Science website in the following Fall term.
For a student to be eligible to be on the Dean's List, they must meet the following criteria:
Be registered as a full-time student in an Arts and Science degree program in both the fall and winter terms, with a minimum of 24 credits attached to letter grades.
Have a last annual GPA of 3.75 or above
For students registered with the Access Centre for Students with Disabilities (ACSD), students need to be registered in at least 6 credits attached to letter grades in both the fall and winter terms with a last annual GPA of 3.75 or higher.
