Newly admitted student resources

Welcome to Concordia's Faculty of Arts and Science! Let's get you started on your academic journey.

Introduction to the Faculty and your department

Touchstone virtual advising session gets you started

The FAS Touchstone virtual general advising session introduces you to Concordia University, your Faculty of Arts and Science, and your department. It will also:

  • Teach you about your degree/program requirements.
  • Highlight courses, course sequencing, and more, that make up your degree and program requirements.
  • Review information that you need to know/understand as you move forward in your studies with us.

It also explains the difference between your department advisor and your SAS advisor.

Transfer credits

If you are a newly admitted student who has transfer credits for courses completed at other educational institutions, please complete and submit the Admission Transfer Credit form to your department or the department offering the course(s) in question.
