Elective courses open to all students

All students are required to do elective credits — courses that are not a part of your program of study. What those are depend on such things as your degree, program or faculty.

Below, you will find a list of courses that are open to all students. The Faculty of Arts and Science also offers Elective groups, which are based on a theme (though there may be prerequisites and restrictions).

Explore the natural world, physical laws, human health, mental processes, and the environment through scientific inquiry.

Examine societal systems, environmental practices, cultural influences, and economic frameworks.

Courses that focus on innovation offered by the Innovation Lab.

Fine arts

Elective arts courses offered by the Faculty of Fine Arts.

Administration courses offered by the John Molson School of Business.
