OUR RESEARCH
We study cognitive and language development in infants and young children.
Young children learn about objects and people in the world around them at a surprisingly early age. They also learn new words very quickly. How children manage these tasks and the strategies they use is the focus of our research.
Research topics
These are the major research topics of our lab:
- The Development of Selective Social Learning
- Language Development in Bilingual and Monolingual Infants
- Developmental Origins of a Theory of Mind
